The first driver to arrive picks up the passenger and enters a verification code. The entire fare is yours — CaminoCabs takes nothing. Plus, you earn CaminoPoints on top.

Fares in Dublin are regulated by the NTA, so the maths is simple: the less commission you pay, the more of every fare you keep.
The same €20 fare on different platforms:
At 25% commission (typical app) you keep €15.

Not immediately. We are onboarding drivers in phases, in line with passenger demand on the app, so new registrations join a waitlist. Register free in the CaminoDriver app and we will contact you when a place opens. Drivers in their first year with the SPSV licence are welcome to register.
You need a valid SPSV licence from the NTA, Irish or EU driving licence, Garda paper licence, valid vehicle insurance for SPSV use, and a smartphone. All documents are uploaded and verified through the app.
Partner drivers display CaminoCabs branding (stickers) on their vehicle and get a lower commission rate (5% vs 10%) plus exclusive access to the Signal System with 0% commission pickups. Both Partner and Standard drivers have access to Prebook requests, CaminoPoints, and all core platform features. The branding materials are provided free of charge. Instead of paying per-trip commission, you pay a flat monthly fee (€140/mo for Partners, €200/mo for Standard) and keep 100% of every fare for that month. You can switch between commission and subscription mode anytime.
Your earnings depend on your hours and trips — but because you keep 95–100% of every fare (vs 75% on typical apps), the same week of driving pays roughly 27% more take-home. On a €20 fare you keep €19 as a Partner instead of €15 at 25% commission. Signal System pickups pay 100% of the fare. No signup fees, no hidden costs.

Standard drivers can use any platform simultaneously. Partner drivers can use CaminoCabs alongside Irish-owned businesses, but cannot display branding from multinational ride-hailing competitors while carrying CaminoCabs branding.
We aim to review documents within 24 hours. Verified drivers then join the waitlist, and we contact you when a place opens; we activate drivers in phases as passenger demand grows.
The Signal System is like hailing a taxi on the street — but better. A passenger drops a signal on the map, and nearby Partner drivers can see it and head towards the pickup.
