Partner Driver Programme – Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 26 March 2026

Important: Please read these Partner Driver Programme Terms and Conditions ("Partner Terms") carefully before applying to become a Partner Driver on the CaminoCabs platform. These Partner Terms are supplementary to and shall be read in conjunction with the General Terms and Conditions for Drivers ("Driver T&Cs"). By applying for and accepting Partner Driver status, you agree to be bound by these Partner Terms in addition to the Driver T&Cs. In the event of any conflict between these Partner Terms and the Driver T&Cs, these Partner Terms shall prevail to the extent of such conflict.

1. Introduction and Definitions

1.1 About the Partner Driver Programme

The CaminoCabs Partner Driver Programme ("Partner Programme" or "Programme") is a voluntary programme that allows eligible Drivers to display CaminoCabs-branded vehicle stickers ("Branding Materials") on their vehicle in exchange for enhanced benefits on the Platform. The Programme is designed to increase the visibility of the CaminoCabs brand and to reward Drivers who actively promote the Platform.

1.2 Definitions

In addition to the definitions set out in the Driver T&Cs, the following definitions shall apply to these Partner Terms:

  • "Branding Materials" means the CaminoCabs-branded vehicle stickers supplied by CaminoCabs to the Partner Driver for display on the Partner Driver's vehicle in accordance with these Partner Terms.
  • "Branding Guidelines" means the specifications, placement requirements, and standards for the display of Branding Materials as set out in Section 4 of these Partner Terms.
  • "Partner Driver" means a Driver who has been accepted into the Partner Programme and who maintains Branding Materials on their vehicle in accordance with these Partner Terms.
  • "Partner Benefits" means the enhanced features and reduced Intermediation Fee rate available to Partner Drivers as set out in Section 3 of these Partner Terms.
  • "Verification" means the process by which the Partner Driver submits photographic evidence of the correct placement and condition of the Branding Materials through the App.
  • "Vehicle Owner" means the registered owner of the vehicle on which Branding Materials are to be displayed, where such owner is a person other than the Partner Driver.

1.3 Relationship with Driver T&Cs

These Partner Terms are supplementary to the Driver T&Cs. All provisions of the Driver T&Cs shall continue to apply to you in full. Your participation in the Partner Programme does not alter your status as an independent contractor as set out in Section 1.4 of the Driver T&Cs.

2.3 Rented or Leased Vehicles

Important: If you do not own the vehicle on which the Branding Materials are to be displayed, you must obtain written permission from the Vehicle Owner prior to applying any Branding Materials. CaminoCabs may request evidence of such written permission at any time. You shall be solely responsible for any dispute, claim, or liability arising from the application of Branding Materials to a vehicle that you do not own.

2.4 Acceptance

CaminoCabs reserves the right to accept or reject any application for the Partner Programme at its sole discretion. Acceptance into the Programme is not guaranteed and CaminoCabs is under no obligation to provide reasons for rejection.

3. Partner Benefits

3.1 Enhanced Intermediation Fee Rate

Partner Drivers benefit from a reduced Intermediation Fee rate. The applicable rates are set out in the Schedule of Fees (Intermediation Fees). As of the date of these Partner Terms, the applicable rates are:

Driver Status Intermediation Fee Rate
Standard Driver (Non-Partner) 10% of Meter Fare
Partner Driver 5% of Meter Fare

The Intermediation Fee rates are subject to change. See Section 5.7 of the Driver T&Cs and Section 10 of these Partner Terms for the applicable notice period.

3.2 Additional Partner Benefits

In addition to the reduced Intermediation Fee rate, Partner Drivers have access to the following benefits as described in the Driver T&Cs:

  • Signals: Access to the Signal feature, allowing Partner Drivers to receive broadcast pickup requests from nearby Passengers (see Section 8 of the Driver T&Cs)
  • CaminoPoints: Ability to earn CaminoPoints from Signal pickups and redeem them in the Shop for benefits such as Intermediation Fee-free periods, physical items, and cash rewards (see Section 9 of the Driver T&Cs)

3.3 Discretionary Benefits

CaminoCabs may, from time to time, offer additional benefits to Partner Drivers at its sole discretion. The provision of such benefits does not create any obligation on CaminoCabs to continue offering them in the future. CaminoCabs reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Partner Benefits at any time, subject to the notice provisions set out in Section 10.

4. Branding Guidelines

4.1 Required Branding Materials

  • Clearly visible and not obscured by dirt, debris, or other materials
  • Free from tears, peeling, fading, or any other deterioration that affects their appearance
  • Not modified, altered, cut, or defaced in any manner

4.3 Third-Party Branding Restrictions

Important: While participating in the Partner Programme, the following restrictions apply to other branding or advertising displayed on your vehicle:

  • You shall not display any branding, logos, stickers, or advertising materials of multinational companies (including but not limited to competing ride-hailing or taxi dispatch platforms) on or inside your vehicle
  • Branding of Irish-owned businesses may be displayed alongside CaminoCabs Branding Materials, provided that such branding does not occupy a more prominent position than or exceed the size of the CaminoCabs Branding Materials
  • CaminoCabs Branding Materials must at all times remain the primary and most prominent branding on the vehicle
  • If you are unsure whether particular third-party branding is permissible, you should contact CaminoCabs at info@caminocabs.ie for guidance prior to displaying it

4.4 Compliance with Regulations

You are responsible for ensuring that the display of Branding Materials on your vehicle complies with all Applicable Laws, Road Safety Laws, and any regulations or guidelines issued by the National Transport Authority regarding vehicle signage and advertising on SPSVs. CaminoCabs shall not be liable for any fines, penalties, or other consequences arising from non-compliance.

5. Supply and Replacement of Branding Materials

5.1 Initial Supply

CaminoCabs shall supply the initial set of Branding Materials to the Partner Driver at no cost. The Partner Driver shall be responsible for applying the Branding Materials to the vehicle in accordance with the Branding Guidelines.

5.2 Replacement – Normal Wear and Tear

Branding Materials that have deteriorated through normal wear and tear (e.g., fading from prolonged sun exposure, gradual adhesive degradation) may be replaced by CaminoCabs at no cost to the Partner Driver, subject to availability and at the discretion of CaminoCabs.

5.3 Replacement – Driver Negligence or Misuse

Where Branding Materials require replacement due to the Partner Driver's negligence, misuse, improper application, intentional damage, or failure to maintain them in accordance with Section 4.2, the Partner Driver shall bear the cost of replacement at the then-applicable replacement cost as notified by CaminoCabs.

5.4 Replacement – Vehicle Damage from Accident

Where a Partner Driver's vehicle has been damaged in an accident that has prevented the Partner Driver from providing Transportation Services, and such damage has affected the Branding Materials, CaminoCabs shall replace the affected Branding Materials at no cost to the Partner Driver upon the vehicle being repaired and returned to service.

5.5 Change of Vehicle

If you change your vehicle while participating in the Partner Programme, CaminoCabs shall supply a new set of Branding Materials for the replacement vehicle at no cost, provided that you remain an active Partner Driver at the time of the request. You must submit a new Verification for the replacement vehicle before Partner Benefits are reactivated. CaminoCabs reserves the right to limit the number of free vehicle changes within a given period where, in its reasonable opinion, the frequency of changes is excessive.

6. Verification Process

6.1 Initial Verification

Upon applying the Branding Materials to your vehicle, you must submit photographic evidence through the App demonstrating correct placement and condition. Partner Benefits shall not be activated until the initial Verification has been reviewed and approved by CaminoCabs.

6.2 Verification Requirements

Verification photographs must clearly show:

  • Each individual sticker and its placement on the vehicle
  • The overall condition of each sticker
  • That the stickers are not obscured, damaged, or improperly applied

6.3 Periodic and Random Verification

CaminoCabs may, at its sole discretion, request Verification at any time, including:

  • Periodic reviews: CaminoCabs may conduct scheduled reviews at regular intervals to confirm that Branding Materials remain in compliance with the Branding Guidelines
  • Random inspections: CaminoCabs may request Verification photographs at any time without prior notice

6.4 Failure to Comply with Verification Requests

If you fail to respond to a Verification request:

  1. CaminoCabs will issue a written notice (which may include email or notification through the App) requesting that you submit Verification photographs within seven (7) days
  2. If you fail to submit satisfactory Verification photographs within the seven (7) day period, CaminoCabs may suspend your Partner Benefits until such time as satisfactory Verification is provided
  3. During any period of suspension under this section, you shall continue to be charged the Standard Driver Intermediation Fee rate until Partner Benefits are reinstated

6.5 Failed Verification

If a Verification reveals that the Branding Materials are not in compliance with the Branding Guidelines (e.g., damaged, improperly placed, obscured, or missing), CaminoCabs shall notify you and provide a reasonable period to remedy the non-compliance. If the non-compliance is not remedied within the specified period, CaminoCabs may suspend or revoke your Partner Driver status in accordance with Section 8.

7. Vehicle Paintwork and Disclaimer

WARNING — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: You are advised that the application and removal of Branding Materials (vehicle stickers) may cause damage to the paintwork of your vehicle, particularly in the following circumstances:

  • Vehicles that have been repainted, spray-painted, or have non-original paintwork
  • Vehicles with existing paintwork defects, chips, or imperfections
  • Older vehicles where the original paintwork may have deteriorated
  • Prolonged application of stickers, particularly in direct sunlight, which may result in colour variation upon removal
  • Improper removal of stickers (e.g., using excessive force, sharp instruments, or unsuitable solvents)

7.1 Disclaimer of Liability

CaminoCabs shall not be liable for any damage to the paintwork, bodywork, or any other part of your vehicle arising from or in connection with the application, maintenance, or removal of Branding Materials. This includes, without limitation, any scratching, discolouration, fading, adhesive residue, paint lifting, or any other cosmetic or structural damage to the vehicle.

7.2 Assumption of Risk

By applying for and participating in the Partner Programme, you acknowledge and accept the risks described in this Section 7 and agree that:

  • You have inspected your vehicle's paintwork prior to applying the Branding Materials and are satisfied that it is in a suitable condition for sticker application
  • You assume full responsibility for any damage that may result from the application, maintenance, or removal of Branding Materials
  • You shall not make any claim against CaminoCabs in respect of any such damage

7.3 Removal Advice

When removing Branding Materials, CaminoCabs recommends:

  • Using a hairdryer or heat gun on a low setting to warm the adhesive before peeling
  • Peeling slowly and at a low angle
  • Cleaning any adhesive residue with warm, soapy water or a suitable adhesive remover
  • Avoiding the use of sharp instruments, abrasive materials, or aggressive solvents

8. Suspension and Revocation of Partner Status

8.1 Voluntary Withdrawal

You may withdraw from the Partner Programme at any time and for any reason by removing the Branding Materials from your vehicle. Upon removal of all Branding Materials, your Partner Driver status shall cease automatically and you shall revert to Standard Driver status with the corresponding Intermediation Fee rate. There is no penalty for voluntary withdrawal and you may continue to use the App as a Standard Driver.

8.2 Revocation by CaminoCabs

CaminoCabs may revoke your Partner Driver status on any one or more of the following grounds:

  • A proven or suspected material breach of these Partner Terms
  • A proven or suspected material breach of the Driver T&Cs
  • Failure to maintain the Branding Materials in accordance with the Branding Guidelines
  • Failure to comply with Verification requests within the specified timeframe
  • Display of prohibited third-party branding in contravention of Section 4.3

  • Conduct that, in the sole opinion of CaminoCabs, damages or may damage the reputation of the CaminoCabs brand
  • Suspension or termination of your Driver account under the Driver T&Cs

8.3 Revocation Procedure

Where CaminoCabs decides to revoke your Partner Driver status, it shall provide you with a written statement of the reasons for that decision (which may include email or notification through the App). Upon revocation:

  • Your Partner Benefits shall cease immediately
  • You shall revert to the Standard Driver Intermediation Fee rate
  • You must remove all Branding Materials from your vehicle within seven (7) days of the revocation notification

8.4 Failure to Remove Branding After Revocation

If you fail to remove the Branding Materials within seven (7) days of revocation, CaminoCabs reserves the right to:

  • Suspend your Driver account until the Branding Materials are removed
  • Take such further action as CaminoCabs deems appropriate to protect its brand and reputation

You shall not display CaminoCabs Branding Materials on your vehicle at any time when you are not an active Partner Driver, as this may mislead Passengers and damage the reputation of the CaminoCabs brand.

8.5 Representations

In the case of a revocation, you shall have the opportunity to make representations, including to clarify the facts and circumstances, by contacting info@caminocabs.ie. CaminoCabs may amend or revoke the decision taken. In the event of CaminoCabs revoking any such decision, it shall reinstate your Partner Driver status and Partner Benefits without undue delay.

9. Intellectual Property

If you do not withdraw from the Programme within the notice period, you shall be deemed to have accepted such amendment. Continued participation in the Programme after the notification period has expired shall be deemed acceptance of such amendment.
